And as you’d expect from any great multi-tool, a whole world of problem-solving and empowerment opens up once you start using it. In well-trained hands, you build strength, cardiorespiratory fitness, dynamic stability and endurance, while staying safe. The key word there is “well-trained."
Social media, the internet and local gyms worldwide are chock-full of kettlebell stupidity. From the “top-100 dumb things to do with a kettlebell,” “I have no idea what I’m doing strength or fitness wise...hey, let's use a kettlebell,” to "I have zero common sense...throw me that kettlebell," you’d be forgiven for thinking that they’re just heavy balls of injury potential.
